Meet The Therapist & Owner
Greetings!Hello & welcome! I’m Kyleigh Ayala, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Ayala & Associates Counseling Group.
If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m endlessly curious about human behavior. How we think, why we engage in the behaviors we do, the relationships we form, and the experiences that shape our perspectives. I have always found that there is more to a person than what we see on the surface, and I think some of the most meaningful conversations begin when we’re willing to look a little closer.
That curiosity naturally influences the way I approach counseling.
I don’t believe people can be understood through a single experience or a particular behavior. We’re far more complex than that. Our environments, relationships, and experiences influence how we understand ourselves, and in turn how we interact with the world. Sometimes the patterns we’ve developed serve us well, and sometimes they become maladaptive. Either way, I believe they’re worth understanding before we decide what to do with them.
In the counseling room I value transparency, collaboration, humor when appropriate, curiosity, and the freedom to have conversations that don’t always come with immediate answers or change. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand who you are, what influences and motivates you, and how you want to navigate your life moving forward.
One philosophy I’ve carried with me, both personally and professionally, is this:
“As long as I continue to learn, I will always be successful.”
It’s a reminder that growth is not about having everything figured out. Sometimes it’s about remaining open to what we have yet to understand.
